Twitter' New Brand Pages

Communication, just a small word with a power when used succinctly can do wonders to both the receiver and the giver. In social media, it couldn't be more apt. Indulging in it is important but how you do is what packs the punch.
Twiiter' ad team did put it rightly : “Communicating with users is not just about what you say. It’s also about how you say it”. And bang came the enhancements to the Brand Pages. Here is a sample look, from Twitter' official site:
Twitter Brand Pages
A nice header image as your brand logo, tagline and visuals are what will help you in making your profile go viral. If you wish you could control what messages the other people will see when they land up on your profile just by promoting them (the necessary tweets) up your timeline. The promoted tweet will have more content visible along with the visual contents that you may have linked with it. Promotion at its best!.
So far as the sources on different internet sites, Twitter will not be charging the brands for these pages or the promotion of tweets. What' more interesting is that the Brand Pages will be visible to any user without joining or logging in to Twitter. And that, we say,  is just as good as it gets!
A few brands that have already been rolled out on these new pages include the giants like, Coca Cola, Cadbury, Dell, HP and McDonald etc. Others will continue to roll out in the near future.
With these recent developments it seems Twitter is getting its sleeves up for the tough competition against Zuckerberg & Co.
We think its a good idea to promote the business this way. What remains to be seen is for the Brands that may not like to promote on the platform with a visual appeal, how good this will be as compared to a normal user page. Although the number would be much less. We hope we will be able to hear from some brands on how they are leveraging on this platform feature and whether there was a kick in their business after this promotion. What is your opinion on this? Will this feature help Brands get a high on their business numbers? Let us know in the comments.
We wish them Good Luck and hope that you will enjoy the new feature. Keep Tweeting and Crunching!
