No, for a start we aren't against Facebook Timeline as the title of this post might suggest to our users. We could argue however that the fan pages could also use this feature so we SocialCrunching could at least have given it a try. But as it stands, Facebook hasn't yet gone public with their decision on the Timeline for fan/brand pages. So, we will have it in near, far or at some point in the future is still under cover. If Facebook is to be believed they are making sure that the user' experience on their individual timeline is as smooth and enjoyable as they plan to and it seems that is the only thing they have their focus on as far as Timeline feature is concerned. So any of you looking for a revamp of the brand/fan pages via Timeline, will unfortunately have to wait like us. We agree a certain amount will argue that since Timeline is specifically more of a personal and individual thing, it doesn't make sense to have it for brands. But hey, isn't Timeline a journey of life..and don't brands have a journey of evolution? We leave this argument here and wait to see if we at all will ever have brand timeline.

Introduced back in September 2011 with a small target group, Timeline is both loved and criticized for one reason or another. But as it stays now, sooner or later everyone will be getting a timeline. If you love it, see above link and help yourself to it, if not then just wait till you are pushed on to it. Facebook Timeline isn't going to change the privacy settings as some people might fear. It just makes it easier to find information that you thought was deep buried in to the sand.
So if you are someone who is afraid of moving on to Timeline for the fear of giving away more than you may know, or someone who is already on Timeline trying to figure out a way to hide things off of Timeline' view..read on!
Axe your Ex...Politely!
Most people suffer from this as they move on in their life. Point is, Timeline may not move on..will not move on. Make sure to hunt down the time in your timeline when your Ex' cupid messages were all over your wall. Hover your mouse cursor over the post on the right top end (right where its says edit or remove) and click 'remove from timeline'. Refresh the page to see that the post will no longer be visible on your timeline. If you desire so, you may check all your private log activity at this url:
http://www.facebook.com/YOURUSERID?sk=allactivity.
Don't forget to replace your specific username in place of 'YOURUSERID'
Time to organize your Parents!
Unfortunately Facebook doesn't allow you to have any view limitation on the posts on your wall/Timeline. Not until they are your own. The best thing to do in this case is to create a list for your parents and others who are in same line and then make things custom, making sure to omit this and other specific lists from viewing those censored posts.
Your boss knows what you read or listen at work!
Facebook partnered with quite a few apps for your timeline. This includes categories like music, news articles etc. The moment you start suing them, they will publish messages on your timeline to know your friends list what you are up to. So if you don't want your boss to know that you were reading interview enhancements tips you better be doing something here.
You may want to, in this case, to either figure out from the app if it has some opt-out feature enabled; or may want to go to Facebook settings page to play with the "Who can see posts and activity from this app?" option in there.
It will be a good idea to make sure you check any app' settings before you start using it as most of the apps have a habit of posting to your Timeline as you and we know you certainly would like to disable that, at least on some occasions if not all!!
We loved the cover photo thing and hope we could create our own timeline on Facebook with a nice cover photo in there. Unfortunately, it isn't the time yet. But if you would like to design a nice cover photo for your's, here are a few links you could visit:
