Pinterest Finally Redesigns Profile Page

It wasn't that we were waiting for it but seems like with Facebook' update on the brand timeline, Google providing an update to its Android app and ApnaCircle as it seems is making some fast changes; Pinterest wasn't to be left alone in the world. Not that Pinterest hasn't been in the news for the way its spreading the pins and boards on every available space. Still, the recent profile page update on Pinterest has come as a surprise.
The old layout looked absolutely fine, nothing wrong with the way things were structured. The space was used well too. But then the Happy Pinning team thought otherwise. The result was a revamp of the profile page that you see once you are logged in to your profile on arguably the most spreading online pinboard account of yours.
This is what we saw a couple of days back when we went there to wander about on the boards and pins.

Pinterest made you (the profile owner) a bit more prominent. It just seems like a bit too much space has been left out of the use. Not that we are sarcastic of the new changes. But the look of our boards is something we didn't like. We surely would not like the most recent in to be representing most part of the board that the pin is a part of. That may make some of our pinned images to go unnoticed for the viewers. Which is really sad :( and we really do not know what's up with this way of stacking up the images (refer to Facebook Timeline pics). Although we agree that the age looks a bit cleaner but seems majority will trade this look for the old layout and we are with them on this one!
The news (and we are sad at this) is that people, at least the majority, aren't liking the new page as they did with the old layout. How do you like the new changes, let is know in the comments!
