Can someone let us know if there is a race of rolling out features going on somewhere that we are not aware of? We are aware(and amazed, at the pace) Google is making changes to its platform in a little too hurry; but it seems ApnaCircle is picking up some clues from the search giant as well. The reason we are saying this is because the company has been rolling out some new features in the recent past that have been really good and user friendly like for example the Career Timeline Tool that we reported sometime back and they were in news for their Blackberry app as well. So while we thought they were busy with Company Pages feature that is coming pretty soon, they side by side are revamping the look of some sections on the site as well.
A couple of weeks before we published news on ApnaCircle Settings pages that got some nice look and user friendly interface. This time we are on their PR site that not only got new look and content but also a new home in ApnaCircle Corporate site.
The footer of the page provides you different links on the whole of the Viadeo Group, which ApnaCircle is a part of. You may use those links to navigate to any of the Group sites. It also has a running Twitter feed for you to stay updated on the official tweets from the company. The Facebook box seems to be missing for some reason. Although there are Facebook and Twitter pages links for you to be in contact with the daily news. Again, we thought it made sense to have put a YouTube link to the company' channel!!
ApnaCircle Corporate site now basically provides you with all the news and information on the whole of the group, with the center being ApnaCircle highlights. So, while you will see details on the whole Viadeo Group on the about page, the best thing that we noticed was the company' timeline information in the right sidebar. In case you still don't know all details about the acquisition etc, this is the place you need to look at. We did capture the part for you to have a look at it right here on your left :).

In other parts of the About section, you will find information on the Board of the Viadeo Group. This list includes people from Viadeo, China(Tianji home) and India where ApnaCircle operates from. So while you will have information about Dan Serfaty and Thierry Lunati who co-founded Viadeo (named Viaduc then), you will have details about Yogesh Bansal, Founder & CEO ApnaCircle and similarly about Derek Ling who founded Tianji in China. Oh and by the way, don't miss out on the Hotmail guy, Sabeer Bhatia!
We advise you don't leave this section before you have had a look at the last page that belongs to section. If you are a statistic person, this will interest you most. The Group Facts page gives you a breakdown of the group by country. So you are able to see total member count from each of the countries the group has its offices in. We will leave you to head over to the page, since its full of stats you may be interested in; but what struck us here was that while Men are from Google plus and Women are from Pinterest, it seems both gender love ApnaCircle!!
The other parts of section talks about their media coverages and its contact persons, so head over here if you have any need to get in touch with their media persons. The last section has information about their partners and again, we will leave you to explore the pages on your won.
