The year has hardly begun and we already are hearing some news that may really qualify for the best leaked news of a year! The guys and TNW noticed some interesting things in the developer logs: References that may suggest Apple is testing a successor to its current version of both iPhone handset as well as the iOS. Sounds interesting, read on.
Although this is not the first case of Apple' pocket being searched(iOS6 was leaked in a very similar manner) without them noticing it, it sure leads to a more distant thought that despite the efforts something just seems to go wrong in between the patent fiasco going around with the smartphone king (ok we agree, "arguably" for some). An iOS developer who contacted 'The Next Web' showed traces in the developer logs that showed Apple testing iPhone6.1 and the requests came from a device running iOS7. The logs also showed that the IP from which the requests came from belonged to Apple's Cupertino campus.
The new version of the iPhone (6.1) is expected to be launched somewhere mid this year. The current iPhone available in the market are versioned at 5.1 and 5.2 based on the LTE model and the 4G band used with the connection. The requests (IP and other things the developers saw in the logs) could be faked, you thing this is the case here? Let us know in the comments.
Happy New Year to all our readers :)
